About One Music Lab

Biracial teenagers having a band rehearsal in a professional studio
Cool rock band recording in soundproof studio with professional equipment

One Music Lab began as a personal dream — to create the kind of music education Oldair wanted for his own children. Our home music room was filled with pianos, guitars, drums, microphones, and many other instruments, giving his children — Matias, Elias, Norah, and Isaac — the opportunity to explore, create, and make music with different instruments every day.

That experience became the inspiration for One Music Lab. Today, every student enjoys that same environment: a room surrounded by instruments, where they are encouraged to explore, experiment, and discover their unique musical talents. We believe the best way to learn music is by experiencing it, making it, and having fun along the way.

From our Charlotte studio, we serve families across Pineville and the greater Charlotte area — offering piano, guitar, drums, voice, bass, ukulele, and more. Every student has a primary and secondary instrument, Friday band rehearsals, and quarterly recitals on a professional stage. Because at One Music Lab, music isn't just what we teach — it's who we are.
